Mary had just stepped into the most unexpected and unknown season of her life. She was told that she would bring God in the flesh into this world through the work of the Holy Spirit, and her life would never be the same because of it. With this news came so many unknown answers. Yet as she receives it, Mary chooses to look back, remember, and celebrate the broader plan of God that places her circumstances in proper perspective. When what was expected looks different than reality it can feel like nothing but chaos is surrounding you, but we choose to lift our eyes above the uncertainty to see God’s plan that will never fail.
