The blistering pace of our society is a threat to the health of our souls. This series is meant to serve as a reintroduction to rest, the easily discarded discipline. God’s heart for rest, as revealed in scripture, runs perpendicular to the pattern of our world which places a heavy emphasis on production and efficiency. As followers of Jesus, our goal is to live in line with God’s heart and to experience life the way He created us to experience it. So, we will be exploring what it looks like to become more reliant upon God’s grace and more humbly aware of our limitations as we pursue a rhythm of restfulness.
