We are an instant culture. Instant-download, instant savings, instant coffee, instant pots... Instant is what both catches our eye and makes us an easy target. And Satan knows this, instant knowledge was at the heart of the fall. So much of giving into temptation is the instant pleasure that comes with it. We are tempted to give into whatever fills the void. But God knows that temporary pleasure is a cheap lure that keeps us from His steadfast, everlasting, never-ending satisfaction. God knows that the way out of temptation is the way into true living. And He has given us a way of escape in every season so that we can continue to walk in a life of true purpose and freedom.
