Much of the letter to the Romans is centered around the tension between Jewish and Gentile believers. Both groups thought about God, culture, and life differently than the other. But an overarching message of Romans is that, through Christ, God has graciously accepted all believers into His family despite their differences. We accept one another because God has already accepted us.
