When Jesus described the blessed life, it wasn't what anyone expected. Blessing isn't when I have it all together, it's when I'm at The End of My Rope. Blessing doesn't come when everything goes according to plan, it comes at The End of My Dreams. I can't earn blessing; it shows up at The End of My Performance. I'm not blessed when life is comfortable; I'm blessed at The End of My Comfort Zone. When Jesus describes the blessed life, I learn that it's not about me at all. In fact, The End of Me is Where Real Life Begins.
