In Matthew 24, the disciples ask Jesus a question that continues to be asked over centuries- “What will be the signs of the end times?” Jesus’ responds with many things, but it comes to it’s culmination in verse 42 with these words, “Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know what day the Lord will come.” Behind the questions of signs, symbols, and wonders, is a deeper question… “As followers of Jesus, how do we keep watch?” How do we not only live faithfully in the times we face, but grow and become more like Jesus through them. In this series we will walk through the most common questions asked in regards to the end times and the book of Revelation, all through the lens of one of Jesus’ final challenges- to keep watch, living with the end in mind and with the hope-filled reality that we face a battle that has already been won.
