The Branch of Life

As you read through John 15 there is one word that keeps showing up. It’s the word “Remain”. It appears 11
times in 11 verses – it’s clear that Jesus doesn’t want us to miss this. The call to remain is a call to faithfulness,
it’s a call to consistency, it’s a call for every one of us. The idea of this word is the heart of this message: a
constant dependence. If you walk through a vineyard one thing is clear- fruit can only come through connection.
It’s dependent on connection. As believers, each of us are called to the branch life. That starts with simply abiding
in Jesus, with drawing our strength and life from Him alone.
