Isaiah 9:2 speaks this promise of a coming Messiah: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.” At Christmas we remember in the midst of whatever darkness we face, that this light has a name and His name is Jesus. Whether in a land of darkness, or a situation of darkness, we hold onto this hope: A Light Has Dawned. When we celebrate Christmas we return once again to the reality that no matter what we may face, everything we need is found in Jesus.
