The wise men left families, comfort and security to celebrate the birth of Christ. The journey to worship him and give generously to him was intentional and costly. As we think about the incarnation and see the journey Jesus took to give us life for us the right response is, like the wise men, to take a journey of our own to celebrate the gift and to honor him with gifts.
