From the beginning we see that God made us for one another, that together we are better than we are apart. But when sin entered the picture fighting for “one another” quickly became fighting for one over the other and it continues to this day. We live in a world that sees power as synonymous with strength, but part of becoming who we are in Christ is a shift in worldview that sees strength as synonymous with sacrifice. As we flip our way of living to follow the example of Jesus, we see that the mission He has given us is a lifetime of lowering ourselves so that God is lifted up.
